Unfortunately, Davis bundles the software and logger together. There are some less-expensive, but unsupported, third party loggers out there. In particular, the Belfryboy clone USB logger <http://belfryboyweatherbits.blogspot.com/>. You can either make one yourself, or he will sell you a ready-to-go version
