The log showed that weewx was copying the files to /var/www/html/weewx as expected.
The display of the website and delivery of the pages is not handled by weewx, but by your web server. Weewx only puts the files in the correct place. When you are connected to the raspberry by ssh you can check the times of the files in /var/www/html/weewx, and hopefully you will find they are the latest!!
