No 'timeout' as such, but see
http://weewx.com/docs/customizing.htm#customizing_templates
for fuller description of current and latest - which are usually the same 
unless a remote database is involved.

An observation will be N/A if there is no reading for that observation in 
the last database record ie no value was received during the archive period.
