I'll leave this to an expert as it is out of my league!! It appears to me that the dropdown contents should be part of index.html which is generated by cheetah from index.html.tmpl which gets the monthly and yearly lists from (I assume) SummarybyMonth and SummarybyYear which are probably populated by a search list extension - which may, for some unknown reason, have got corrupted.
But that is as far as I got.
