Hi, Stefano Since you wrote your original post, V3.7 came out, which *does* allow the archive interval to change within a database. All you have to do is update your database using the tool wee_database with option --update.
See the Upgrade Guide for details <http://weewx.com/docs/upgrading.htm#From_V3.6_or_earlier>. Truth be told, if you do this, you would be the first to try it, so I'm eager to hear about your experiences.
