That's interesting. Is it true? Not in my case; I'm in the inconsequential minority. To OP: I am running a Davis Vantage Pro 2. I originally used an Oregon Scientific WMR-200A but I had too many problems with it performing reliably. I am in favor of cost-effectiveness, but when the effectiveness of the solution is questionable... I upgraded.
