The first issue remains. *I have tested with 2 different USB cables and it persists. Occurs after a few hours of normal work.*
The second issue is less problematic. After doing a systemctl stop, the system does not manage to stop the weewx daemon correctly (I had badly checked with ps, and the process is still there). So, I have to kill it by hand.
