Hi, Never used a WS1 but looking at the driver have you turned on debug for both WeeWX and the driver? In weewx.conf set debug=1 and under [WS1] add debug_read = 2. Save weewx.conf then restart WeeWX. Have a look at the log, I would suggest posting the log from when WeeWX was restarted (don't be afraid of posting too much log, most folks tend to post minuscule log extracts and that makes it hard to get the full picture). You might find someone will then be able to help/offer further guidance.
