Davis ProVantage 2 wireless
Davis 7627 repeater was added last night, relaying both ISS and anemometer

Both before and after addition of the repeater, the signal quality graph
shows a large downward spike (from 85 to 60) roughly every three hours, in
addition to other spikes which appear random.

I am not aware of anything out here on the ranch -- other than possibly the
icemaker of the refrigerator -- which runs on a three-hour cycle and has
the potential of generating electrical interference sufficient to cause
drop of received packets.

I hoped that installation of the repeater would provide a significant boost
in signal strength, but no dramatic change is evident to me.

I see the cyclic increase in received packet count more as a curiosity than
a problem.
