Have we had any reports of the engine stopping the StdReport thread for
some reason ?
Weewx gracefully recovered with no manual intervention needed, but I
haven't seen this one before and just stumbled upon it when I noticed my
memory usage dropped this morning so I poked around the logs. Looking at
old logs I 'do' see this happening other times, again recovering gracefully.

Memory graph just because I like seeing the $12 computer I'm using has been
up for 650 days now :-)
Data is from Tom's old memory extension that I hacked the heck out of, code
is on github (link)
<https://github.com/vinceskahan/vds-weewx-v3-mem-extension/blob/master/bin/user/mem.py>
if
you need that. The whole computer has 128MB of RAM, but it's been running
reliably for many years and many weewx versions. Like 'many' years and
versions.
