Good to hear it is working. Now that your site in online it is much easier to 
see what is gong on. On your web server  averages.html can be in any directory 
but what is necessary is that (1) averages.json needs to be in a directory 
named json hanging off the directory that contains averages.html and (2) 
averages.js and theme.js need to be in a directory named scripts hanging off 
the directory that contains averages.html. This can be changed if necessary by 
changing a few settings in averages.js and/or averages.html. I guess somehow 
some of the files ended up elsewhere on your web server, I will check the 
extension when I am home but last time I checked a default install was well 
behaved.

If I understand you correctly you have averages.json in both your root 
directory and json directory. Your page is using the one in the json directory 
so you can safely delete the averages.json in the root directory. You can also 
safely delete averages.html from the json directory.
