Thomas, Thanks for the reply. I won't worry about it. The reason I asked is that the help file for Davis' Weatherlink software shows three options. See the attached screen shot I took for setting that in the console with Weatherlink. Evidently, you can set a VantagePro to use small cups or Vue/Other cups. I'll just leave the value as it is set in the console without setting it explicitly. phil
