Thanks for responding. Yes that is what I thought and my config file has a 
value of 300 for seconds, but that value seems to be not used. There is a 
comment in the file that states if data logging is supported by the weather 
station then that is used. I suspect that a ws2317 must have data logging 
but I do not know how to change the timing. So I was hoping someone still 
using a ws2316/7 knows how to get faster updates.
