Several things: - The climb in the number of weakrefs, which are not used by WeeWX, so must be used indirectly in a library or driver; - Of the libraries used by WeeWX, only the usb drivers use weakrefs (I checked); - User Kurt has an Ultimeter, but with a serial connection (instead of usb), and has no such problems; - Serial cables are notorious for hardware and software problems; - There isn't much left!
