Sounds good and I'm glad you found a way to customize it. I had to use moment.js because of the background updates and the various time formats that update with it (header, forecast, earthquake, charts). The pro is that all the dates will look consistent, the con is that it doesn't allow for much user customization. I've thought about moving all of the "LLLL", "LLL", and others to some variables to try and make it easier to change from skin.conf or something, but there's so many dates that not all may fall into that standard grouping. It's a small challenge to keep it all looking consistent.
