rain is not supplied directly by the WMR300, so it is not in the sensor
map. It is calculated from differences in rain_total (see line 1295
<https://github.com/weewx/weewx/blob/master/bin/weewx/drivers/wmr300.py#L1295>
in
the driver).

If you want the driver to emit rain_total (not a bad idea, IMO), then it
could be added to the sensor map.

  [[sensor_map]]
    rainTotal = rain_total

This way you could see what WeeWX is working with.
