Is it's the same. Fine Offset produce the equipment and have different resellers, Ambient Weather(US), Ecowitt ,Tycon, Aercus, Watson, Misol, Froggit(Europe), Maplin, Conrad, etc So the GW1000 do more or less the same as a SDR device. As far as I can see no drivers are available right now.
