the console is a receiver.  it is the instruments that transmit, and as far 
as i know, all of the acurite 5n1 instruments use the same wireless 
protocol, which can be received by the nooelec sdr.

unless you have some kind of hardware failure, the smart hub will work just 
fine with weewx.  here is an overview:
