Ok, there are 2 .conf files I see in /etc/weewx/ weewx.config (which is the one I looked in for the settings you mentioned)
weewx.conf.dist (I have not modified at all) I do not know of any othe .conf file you might be referring to. I have asked the Meteo-Pi designer if a the logger has a web based page in the device.
