As Gary notes, the problem is that your configuration file, weewx.conf, was not configured to use the Vantage driver properly.
How did you do the install? The easiest is to follow the directions for MacOS <http://www.weewx.com/docs/macos.htm>. This will prompt you for which driver you want to use.
