There are dozens of posts on how to do that. In general you just need to copy it someplace periodically, but it's wise to verify the copy can be restored from. There are lots of instructions for how to do this in the google group previous posts. But lets get you going first. What 'clock skew situation' are you encountering and what does your log look like ?
