This is a new one to me. Other things to try: 1. Any particular reason why the retransmit bit is on? I'm not familiar with this bit, but I can see it could cause CRC problems if the Envoy is looking for a channel that doesn't exist. And, I'm sure channel 255 does not exist.
2. Is the power supply to the Envoy OK? 3. Try reseating the logger. Just take it out, then put it back in.
