When looking at interceptor.py version 0.53, there is not yet a wh40batt
sensor listed at the class ecowitt-client (Consumer).
You may insert in interceptor.py after line 2249 wh65.batt an extra line
like
'wh65batt': 'wh65_battery',
'wh40batt': 'wh40_battery',
'pm25_ch1': 'pm2_5',
and then add the sensor to weewx.conf like
[Interceptor]
...
[[sensor_map_extensions]]
rainBatteryStatus = wh40_battery
