Hi, I am in a similar situation and looking for a SIMPLE solution. I am very much a Newbie to Raspberry pi and Weewx but keen to learn more.
I also have a Bresser 5-in-1 (Model 7002570. Important! as several different models called "5 in 1") and currently run it on my laptop via the Console USB ink using the Bresser "Weather Tool" software, http://archive.bresser.de/download/7002570/software/ . I can then use it to save data AND upload to WeatherCloud, However I don't want to tie up my laptop all the time so would like to use a Raspberry pi.....and Weewx, using the USB link. So far I have Weewx on my new Raspberry pi ....but with fault codes pointing towards file "engine.py". I guess it's down to getting the right Driver?I have tried several in the list, none have worked. Could someone with the right programming knowledge "Reverse Engineer" (if that is the right description!) the appropriate "Weather Tool" code to create a suitable Driver and make it available?? Or is there another solution? Incidentally the Youshiko YC3888 appears to be an identical Model. I live in hope!
