If you are looking to move past this error, I *believe* you can do:
apt update
(That’s apt, rather than apt-get.)

With apt, you will have the chance to accept the change, which you should 
accept.

This is from memory, but I think I remember correctly.  And you aren’t doing 
anything strange here.
