Decided to try V4 with Python 3. Installed on a freshly built Raspberry Pi 4 using setup.py. This install was not an upgrade. First run with the Simulator worked great. Next step was to install Matt's Forecast extension and I followed the instructions on the weewx wiki: wget -O weewx-forecast.zip https://github.com/matthewwall/weewx-forecast/archive/master.zip
wee_extension --install weewx-forecast.zip (the instructions still refer to a
weewx-forecast-x.y.tgz type file)
Removed all the forecasts except NWS from weewx.conf and configured NWS for my
area.
