In preparation to a move to latest xubuntu (20.04.1) from 18.04 I am looking to upgrade to the latest version of weewx.
I am still running 3.8.0 and have made some additions (to interface with Conky). Reading the upgrade documentation I was going to go via the 'setup.py' route. Checking my current setup I am running from /usr/share/weewx /etc/weewx /var/lib/weekx (sqlite) The upgrade documentation says to change setup.cfg to 'previous installation' this presumably will be '/usr/share/weewx' I am wondering whether this is the wisest route or whether to a. use the '.deb' file and rebuild my customisation. b. stick with Python 2 It's some years since I did the original weewx installation and a lot has been forgotten. Can anyone advise please. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
