Bill, Did you try setting loop_on_init = 1 in weewx.conf (http://www.weewx.com/docs/usersguide.htm#General)? The pi zero problem was almost certainly a case of WeeWX starting before the network is up and it’s quite possible this latest problem has the same cause. Setting loop_on_init = 1 will cause WeeWX to retry every 60 seconds on striking an error during initialisation rather than exiting.
