See the Wiki article *Cleaning up old 'bad' data <https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/Cleaning-up-old-'bad'-data>* for an example of deleting unwanted records. In your case, you will need to determine the starting and ending records of the simulator data, then delete them.
