Logging came up a couple weeks ago. On a pi there are two logfiles. You might find entries in /var/log/syslog and/or in /var/log/messages depending on how you are configured.
Back then Tom suggested trying: * logger -p user.debug "This is a debug message"* On a pi running buster here that would put the entry in /var/log/syslog but 'not' into /var/log/messages. Verified here on a buster pi. You can check your os version by looking at /etc/os-release and /etc/debian_version and the vintage of the Raspbian os you started with is in /boot/issue.txt if you wanted to check that. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "weewx-user" group.
