I'm a tinkerer and familiar with Python & many flavors of Linux. I'm doing
some preliminary research on this weather station I got for my birthday
(haven't even turned it on yet - but the user manual suggests to me that
it's got an Android app but no real computer interface and it's married to
Accuweather and not wunderground - but I want my own data and keep my own
history) and am wondering if WEEWX is a path I should pursue in trying to
get more out of the device and the sensors than what comes out of the box.
I'm not seeing a driver specifically for this but have some skilz in
engineering and sensing/sniffing what's in my wifi network that this beast
is going to be connected. So, the question is - I'm looking for
thoughts/opinions on whether to take time investment to digging into this
with a relatively current LaCrosse device.
