Make sure your Vantage is not in "SETUP" mode. Long press DONE on the console to exit setup mode.
If that doesn't help, we will need to see the log from startup. See the Wiki article *Help! Posting to weewx user <https://github.com/weewx/weewx/wiki/Help!-Posting-to-weewx-user>* for how to get a good system log. Make sure you get it from the *startup* of WeeWX.
