Hello !

I'm not able to detect my Davis VantagePro2 station with an USBSerial
adapter on a fresh install of weewx on a Ubuntu 20.04 LTS laptop

I was previously using weatherview on a direct serial connection on an old
pc that died.

The FTDI USB Serial adaptor is well recognized and working but the Davis
Vantage station no.

Is there any additional driver that I need to install ?

weewx has been installed from the ubuntu weewx repository today (debian
package thru apt-get install).

Any help would be appreciated !
I feel like I'm just missing one link somewhere to say taht the station is
known. I nowhere had to declare it in the list of known devices / driver to
use.

Is there a configuration step I missed in the documentation ?
