Thanks Tom. I went to the site and I followed the upgrade instructions but I assume however that the raspberry OS is unwilling to follow the rules and gave me the following:

To be honest. my programming days are long behind me (as you can imagine) and interpreting error messages is a little difficult but maybe you can she your light on it.
