I have been running two wireless VP2’s in windy marine environments (Florida: 
high heat and humidity; and Maine: freezing (with a built-in heater for the 
rain gauge) for several years, talking to two NUC’s. I change the batteries 
annually (consoles, the ISS units and some standalone 6332 transmitters), use 
UPS on the NUC’s. Very happy with the combination.
