If I understand correctly, you're trying to rename a database type from sunshine_hours to sunshine_time.
If so, use the utility wee_database with the --rename-column <http://www.weewx.com/docs/utilities.htm#Action_--rename-column> option: *wee_database --rename-column=sunshine_hours --to-name=sunshine_time* Make a backup first.
