Hey everyone. My setup:
GW1000 driver for Ecowitt WS80. I have a Rainwise wired rain gauge using a self-made service that adds the rain bucket tips to the loop. All the rain reports correctly, but the rainRate is always zero in the archive. My hunch is that the WS80/GW1000 is reporting a rainrate of 0 because it has no rain measuring equipment, and because of that WeeWx is not calculating a rate using the xType. So how do I fix that?
