Hi all! I ran my Davis Vantage VU on wview for many years. Due to living
across the street from the ocean, the Davis finally did rust out. I decided
to revive the station after 5 years of downtime when I found you can get
all new guts for the vantage vu for under $100.00 dollars. Here is my weewx
install <https://www.oceanbeach.org/weewx>. Here is my old wview
<https://www.oceanbeach.org/weather/>.

I do like the mix of graphs and gauges on the wview site and I would like
to add a set of round gauges to the new weewx site. The only round gauges I
can find for weewx are the Steel Gauges skin. I am a retired embedded
programmer, not at web designer. I am willing to have a go at integrating
the steel gauge graphics into the weewx Standard skin, but I am concerned
that I am going to run into namespace conflicts among the configuration
files that would make the task near impossible.

So I am asking the group: Am I embarking on a fool hardy endeavor or do you
web experts believe such an integration is plausible? Any direction, hints
and advice is appreciated.

Just to establish my level of html ignorance, I have yet to get the
background image in my weewx masthead cell to auto size to the entire cell,
but I am working on it :).
