You cannot find it in such an installation.
A lot of stuff that is present in the setup.py installations is not 
installed a pre-packaged one.

For dpkg, you can run 'dpkg -L weewx' to see what is installed and where.

Much of the documentation was written in the days when only setup.py 
installations were possible.  You'll tend to not generally see 
documentation saying "if you are on debian, do this....but on suse do 
THAT...but on a mac do this other thing....".

When in doubt you can always refer to the github page that has everything.
