Another fun fact: at least where I come from, we use "Fö(h)n" if we want to 
name the device you know as "hair dryer" (although we know the 
"Haartrockner" = hair dryer, as well). Fön ® 
<https://dict.leo.org/englisch-deutsch/%C2%AE> is, or was, a registered 
trademark for hair dryers and the name was inspired by the Föhn. Both 
produce warm, dry air.
