Ok, folks - setting up a new Raspberry Pi with weewx on it - long story involving a powersurge.
Anyway, I can get it up and running, but I think I'm still using the older 4.10 version of Weewx rather than the 5.0 version. Is 5.0 released yet? I'm seeing documentation here: https://weewx.com/docs/5.0/ ...but I'm not getting that version through the downloads or package versions. dpkg -s is consistant after an apt-get update etc, Shows - *perry@wxpi:~ $ sudo dpkg -s weewxPackage: weewxStatus: install ok installedPriority: optionalSection: scienceInstalled-Size: 6004Maintainer: Tom Keffer <[email protected]>Architecture: allVersion: 4.10.2-1Depends: python3 (>= 3.5) | python (>= 3.5), python3-configobj, python3-cheetah, python3-pil, python3-serial, python3-usb, lsb-basePre-Depends: debconfSuggests: sqlite, rsync, ftp, httpd, python3-dev, python3-pipConffiles: /usr/share/weewx/user/extensions.py 628fcd3750058fe8c9972cb22438a35e ...* I'm ok with using 4.10.2 (as I said, it DOES report correctly), just wanted to see if there was a 5.0 available - might as well set it up once. Only thing I'm thinking I'm constrained by is my hardware - it's a older RPi3 from 2018 (it's what I had on the bench.) Do I have to upgrade that? (doesn't actually look it it from the software/web stuff I'm seeing, but you never know.)
