Did you look in the Standard skin skin.conf under [ImageGenerator]
[[day_images]]:
[[day_images]]
....
[[[dayinside]]]
[[[[inTemp]]]]
Comment out the [[[dayinside]]] and [[[[inTemp]]]] lines. Likewise in
[[week_images]], [[month_images]] and [[year_images]].
