I still like Rich's MQTTSubscribe as the solution for MQTT both as a driver or as a service, but I do like the idea of a generic set of sensor mappings with the various combinations possible given all the models of ecowitt gear. I have some FIXME items noted therein where I didn't map things to weewx fields before I sent the test gear back for a refund. I did need to add some fields to be able to support both piezo and tipping rain gauges when I had the WS85 and WH40 here for testing last fall but there are so many sensor models to try to keep track of....
