Well I certainly seem to have opened a can of worms. I would think if you enjoy someone's company 24/7 you would enjoy traveling with them, if you don't enjoy that much uninterrupted time with them then you wouldn't. I travel alone often--I went to Disneyworld alone. You are totally on your own schedule, no one cares when you leave, when you come back, where you go, where you don't go, etc. etc. Total freedom, no mutual decisions to make. You can do everything you want and nothing you don't. Although it is nice to have someone to go to dinner with or to say "wow look at that!" etc. etc. There are pros and cons.
