I didn't even realize it was for a movie.  He just showed up on my Yahoo! stream one day. I liked the rest of the album (although the name eludes me at the moment.)  But it is kind of self-conscious as a cover (which is why I banned it from my playlist).  But re-imagined with a cello accompaniment?  I'm thinking it would very fun.

I've never actually heard him play Laid live.  He seems a bit
embarrassed that he recorded that, but when you get an offer for the
soundtrack to a popular movie, you don't get prudish.  Unfortunately,
he was here on the 3rd and I missed it.  :( 

He comes through every year, though.  He's very funny live, too.
