nephew loves it too. Apparently it is actually effective in getting
kids to clean up. Whoever wrote that was a genius. If kids are going
to repeat the same thing over and over, might as well be something that
teaches them something. If you ever wonder why/how people get songs
stuck in their heads, hang out with a 2 or 3 year old all day. They
will sing the same song over and over and over. I'm starting to think
it isn't because they like it so much, but because they can't
concentrate on anything else. The song--twinkle twinkle, old
macdonald, whatever, is like a parasite--it gets in your brain and
won't let go.
