The furniture company is going to reimburse me $50 out of $100 delivery
charge!  I'm amazed.  I wrote them a long sob story, similar to what I
posted here, and I think they felt so bad for me that they decided to
compensate me for my inconvenience or something.  I signed a release
taking full responsibility, so I figured once I agreed to pay the
delivery charge I was out of luck.  But no, if you pull out all the
stops they might actually feel sorry for you.  Or maybe they just
didn't want to lose a customer. Yeah, that's probably it.
