Back in the OLDEN days, when I was in college, we didn't have the internet. We didn't even have email! We had to talk on the phone if we wanted to communicate. We had to go to the library to write papers, almost no one had their own computer. We also had to walk uphill both ways in the snow barefoot for school.
I share a name with a famous syndicated columnist from the Boston Globe, but I have dibs on the name because it is her ex-husband's last name and mine is my given name. I don't think she was using the name when I was born or my parents might have given me a different name. I guess there are worse people I could have shared a name with.
