I think she means that Unitarians are not "quietly" doing same sex weddings... The public weddings, protests, etc almost always include an Unitarian. On some isssues we tend to be very vocal.

Definite generalization.

I've been to same-sex weddings at a Friends (Quaker) meetinghouse and
on the land of an Eastern-inspired spiritual community in New Mexico.
I've also heard about ceremonies performed by Catholic priests and
Reform Jewish rabbis, although the former were certainly not
Officially Condoned (don't know about the latter).

Different Christian churches are currently arguing about the issue.
Not sure which ones have taken which positions, but certainly the
information is out there. Maybe Google it?
