And talking about sports is probably moot too. I could just say DO ME NOW and

it would work regardless of who paid.

Normally I just pay for the date because I'm hoping the guy is going
to put out. Paying for the date and talking about sports is really
likely to get you some...

OK here we go--Daria was being facetious because the stereotype is
that this is the guy's thought process. A woman wouldn't need to do
this because the myth is that guys will sleep with anyone willing to
sleep with them. So for a woman to say this sounds funny because it
is the guy's perspective. I guess the sports part is that guys really
want to talk about sports, so if you are a woman who likes to talk
about sports the guy will be even more interested in hanging out with
you, something like that, I think.
